Hey y'all! I'm about to embark on a cool journey. I hope to be successful and share more about that later. For now I just want everyone to know that I'm safe, but may be unreachable for the next couple of weeks.

If you are trying to contact me, just know that I'll get back to you in due time. Be patient and wish me luck! Keep me in your prayers if that's your thing.

To be a bit candid, I've been very nervous about this trip. I've been planning and training for some time, but I can't help but worry about the unknown. I don't usually share such worries, since I know I'm very privileged and only want to share my experiences to shed a positive light on the places I visit and give people somewhere to consider in their own travels.

That being said, I've been met with nothing but kindness and support here, as well as from people back home. I feel so loved and supported by you all.

As I move quietly, well at least to y'all, I will be thinking about your support. I never forget those who have cheered for me and given me love. Whether that's in music, career, personal life, or even watching your dog, I am moving with you in mind.

I leave for Nepal this week!

First, let's find some introspection as we use movement and our breath to meditate. I'm talking about Yin yoga. Then, I'll leave a video class for the New Moon in Virgo.

Yin is a style of yoga in which we target more than just the muscles as we stretch. During this class, we are seeking to unlock and release the things we're holding onto. It's easier said than done. So, during this class, I want to welcome meditation into each posture as we retrain our minds during times we find frustrating. It's apart of the process, and it's not easy. Sometimes we have to breathe through it, loosen our jaw, and look inwards. Let's explore the practice together!

Classes include 15 min of Breath work, 15 min Meditation. Open to all levels.

Classes will be up to 2-3 people, and sign ups will be first come first serve. Registration fee is $25 per person.

Here is my calendar for September 2026!

We start off with a Hatha week and then I plan on introducing y'all to the art of Yin Yoga. We will find Meditation in Motion, while we work our body through stress by using props to get comfy and spend time in some postures. It's all about supporting yourself and finding out how to do so.

I leave for Nepal this month to celebrate my birthday by turning an undisclosed age and climbing a mountain in Nepal. But, I do not plan on leaving you empty-handed!

I will be leaving Essence Massage and Day Spa with some pre-recorded classes, as well as special event classes available for your use. This includes Harvest Moon Specials and a special Autumn Equinox Flow.

Here is my calendar for 8/30 - 9/4!

This week, we are building your sequence as a beginner. The first step in any heath class is building your sun salutation routine. This is the heart of every vinyasa flow and used in all Hatha classes to warm up the body, as well as in transitions between flows or sequences. If there's a good place to start, it's here!

Here is my Weekly Yoga Calendar for 8/9 -8/14!

This week's focus is the New Moon in Leo. Leo is the sign of boldness and pride. It’s a fire sign at home in the Sun, which bodes perfect as we see meet the Solar Eclipse. This fixed sign revolves around the solar plexus, spine, heart and stomach. Lots of care for the torso, which holds a lot of support for the body. We want to embower the body and open the heart, to show our authenticity and courage.

Here is my Weekly Yoga Calendar for 8/2 - 8/7!

This week's focus is Lammas or Midsommer (we promise no creepy cults or flower dresses). Known as the ripening time, or the fruiting time, Lammas is the mid-point between the summer solstice and fall equinox. All the crops are ready for harvest and reaching their peak. The first harvests are made here. We see the art of transformation in action as the harvest is transformed into their intended forms.

It can also be lughnasa based on calendar or culture. There’s a lot of overlap with Christianity and Pagan holidays here. It signifies the cycle of life and death, as the beginning of the harvest is here, so we can have a fruitful start to the Harvest season. It’s like a relief from the summer heat, as we begin to feel that switch.

Fulfillment of the seeds of harvest, as the fruits finish ripening and the crops reach their peak. Just like nature, we want to encourage tying ribbons of fall and ripening ourselves and our practice. Decorate the space with fall colors, sunflowers, mint, and bake some bread. Have some corn soup. Set the vibes and use that which we harvest from the summer heat.

Here is my August Yoga Class Calendar 2026!

There's a lot going on as we are entering this August. It's been a long, hot summer, and in Texas, it seems like it's only getting hotter. We long for the crisp air of Fall. We find our routines changing or in need of a refresh. Let's use the calendar to help find some synchronicity in what's going on around us, and find what is needed to refresh our minds & bodies.

Here is my Weekly Yoga Calendar for 7/26 - 7/31!

This week we have a Full Buck Moon in Aquarius. Aquarius invites innovation and authenticity. This is a time for self-liberation and recognition of progress. During this time we should focus on building and supporting the community, inviting a fresh perspective on collective improvement. This air sign is ruled by the planet Uranus, which is a fixed sign. Not very moveable and stubborn, but this reminds us to invite that freshness I mentioned earlier. Aquarius rules the legs, specifically the ankles, shins, calves. Let's show our legs some love!

This is the time of year where male deer regrow their antlers, hence the name “Buck” moon. They shed the roughness and grow into a new velvety beginning. Other names for this moon are the Salmon Moon (when fish migrate up Pacific Northwest rivers), or the Raspberry Moon. European historical names include the Hay Moon and Mead Moon. All these have one thing in common: movement. Whether that's moving upstream, growing new antlers, or producing fruit, we are moving towards the time of year in which we harvest the fruits of our labor in the Fall. We must continue to nourish ourselves, so that we grow the best antlers around!

We also have a Cooling Vinyasa for those that want something to help relieve this summer heat. We will learn techniques through breathing and movement to help cool down our bodies, as well as find some relaxation.

Pair the cooling vinyasa with some Contrast Therapy at Essence! Help calm the body by utilizing our Red Light Sauna and the Cold Plunge. Contrast Therapy helps to recharge your body and mind. Alternating between hot and cold therapy can boost energy, enhance circulation, reduce inflammation, and speed muscle recovery.
