✨ Gretchen’s Transformation Story ✨

I joined Burn (Parker, CO) in March of 2025 when I was at my heaviest weight and the most unhealthy and unhappy I had been in my life. It was just a few months after I gave birth to my second son and I was trying so hard to give myself grace. Between May and June I took a break and moved to Texas. I started coming to the FloMo Burn in July which is when my transformation really started.

I was new to Texas, had no community and was eager to get back in the gym. I committed to going at least 5 days per week and instantly found an amazing community in the 8 am class (SHOUTOUT 8 AM!). I even started going to the gym on Saturdays because of them! In addition, I changed my eating habits, focusing on increasing my protein intake, leaned on the trainers for support, and guidance. Between the trainers and the amazing community at Burn, I have accomplished more than I thought was possible for myself.

I pushed myself (and was encouraged) to lift heavier and try things I would have never tried (assisted pull ups and chin ups, regular push ups). I’ve lost 53 pounds (and counting) but I’ve gained more than I ever imagined and am so proud of the progress I have made. I came to Burn because it was a place I could workout for 45 minutes while my kids were taken care of and now I have the most amazing people surrounding me, pushing me to lift heavier and cheering me on no matter what.

Here is a quick overview of all of the protocols Burn Boot Camp Flower Mound has to offer:

MetCon = spicy cardio + strength
Athletic Conditioning = train like an athlete
Core Strength & Conditioning = core strength with a cardio kick
🦵 Upper Body Strength = push, pull, press, repeat
Arm Day = where sleeves go to die
Lower Body Strength = leg day, but make it Burn
Bodyweight Conditioning = no equipment, all sweat
Push & Pull = stronger every rep
Full Body Strength = total-body power
Arms & Core Strength = abs + arm burn combo
Back & Glutes = backside builder
Full Body Strength & Conditioning = sweaty, strong, unstoppable

Monday- We will have holiday hours. Camps will be available at 7, 8, and 9 AM and we will be participating in the SAC Challenge.

For Memorial Day we will have modified hours. Camp times will be at 7, 8, and 9 AM. Child Watch will be available at all three.

What is the SAC challenge?

SAC stands for strength and conditioning.
Participants have a 15-minute time limit to complete the following exercises in any order. The "unbroken" requirement means the reps must be completed consecutively without stopping or dropping off the equipment.

Men- 15 reps
Women- 5 reps

Double Unders
Mean- 25 reps
Women 25 reps

Men- 50 reps
Women- 25 reps
