What a weekend for Glory Adkins NTX 2K13! The girls finished 4–4 in their fourth 14U tournament, competing hard in every game and showing just how much they’ve grown.
At the plate, they were aggressive and disciplined, drawing 24 walks and striking out only 18 times across eight games. They faced strong pitching—including our older, more experienced , the Glory Adkins - Power—and went toe-to-toe until the very last at-bat, falling just one run short. What a game!
The girls showed tremendous resilience after that loss, regrouping and winning their final two games. Every player contributed, and the team’s hard work on and off the field is paying off. We can see it in every at-bat and every defensive play.
We’re so proud of how these girls keep challenging themselves, learning, and growing together. The final score tells only part of the story; it can’t capture the progress they’ve made as a team and as individual athletes. 🥎
A special to the umpires who handled our final two games. They were fair, fun, and great to have on the field!
