Congrats to Mario Diamantis and Stavros Kapsalis for representing Greece in the U16 Eurobasket! Greece finished in 6th place and was eliminated in the quarterfinals by eventual champion Latvia.
Mario and Stavro were identified by Giannis Kalampokis, Kostas Papadopoulos, former Greek National team player Kostas Tsartsaris and Euroleague legend Dimitrios Diamantidis during our Greeks in the USA showcase in 2023, 2024, 2025. An amazing accomplishment and experience for these two young men. Congratulations to them both! The purpose of the Greeks Abroad program is to showcase players of Greek heritage, help them gain Greek citizenship, and give them the opportunity to represent Greece. We hope to continue to see Greeks Americans representing the motherland at all levels! 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷

We had the pleasure of hosting on a 7-night tour to Greece with stops in Athens and Mykonos. A great program with a top notch staff and high character student athletes that were class acts both on and off the court! Thank you to Coach Pat Doherty for entrusting us with his team this week!
