Folsom Lake College Athletics held its inaugural Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Sept. 30. The Class of 2023 included Kylie Haverson, Danielle Otto, and Stu Van Horn. Haverson (2016-2018) was an integral member of the Folsom Lake College Women's Volleyball team's first season and then led the team to the State Volleyball Championships as a sophomore. She was an All-Region Northern California selection in 2017. Otto (2013-2015) was a member of the first Folsom Lake College Women's Soccer team leading the team to back-to-back conference championships in the first two years of the program. She was named Bay Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 2014. Van Horn (2005-2013) served as a Dean of Instruction at FLC and played a key role in the design and development of the athletic venues on campus. He was instrumental in the college's successful implementation of intercollegiate athletics at the campus, conference, and state levels. The FLC Women's Soccer team will host a High School Girls Futsal Camp for ages 14-18 on Mon., Jan. 16, 2023 (the MLK Jr. holiday) from 9am-4pm at the main campus in the gym. Participants will have the unique opportunity to work with the college's current players and coaching staff in a fun learning environment. The cost for the camp is $50.
