Trick or tread! 🎃 One week until we haunt Miller Park. This riverside course packs a punch in a narrow space with lots of grass, more hillside than you'd expect, and a signature drop to the beach for sand and a run-up.

What an epic way to kick off the season!!! Day 2 at Orangevale Park brought the stoke with even better weather and all our bike friends.

And yes, that is a dog in a backpack 🐶 props to Sprocket for racing all day with his dad in the GravelCross category!

We’re back, baby!!!! Orangevale Day 1 did not disappoint. This course is fast and fun with a lil bit of everything.

And we’re just getting started. Don’t miss day 2 tomorrow! We’ll run the course in reverse direction, a first for this modified Orangevale track. Plus the usual - good vibes, good people, good b**r.

Race weekend is HERE! 🚲 Sacramento Cyclocross kicks off this Saturday and Sunday, October 10 & 11, at Orangevale Park (7145 Filbert Ave).

Still need to register? Sign up by 11:59 pm TONIGHT (Thurs 10/8) to avoid the $10 late reg fee that kicks in Fri-Sun.

What to know before you roll in:
📍 Packet pickup is at the Registration Tent near the finish line, 8 AM to 2 PM.
🚗 Parking is free in several small lots around the park. Please do not block driveways!
🔧 Neutral support provided by Trek El Dorado Hills
👧 FREE Kids Race at 12:15 for shredders 9 and under
🍺 B**r garden pouring Bike Dog Brewing b**r. B**rs are $5, benefiting Clipped In for Life - thanks Bike Dog for donating!
🍔 Pancho Villa BBQ is here Saturday and Island Fin Poke Co on Sunday.

What to expect at Orangevale Park: course highlights!

This venue has been a favorite for over a decade! With the start/finish right in the middle of the course, it brings all the CX vibes as racers wrap around on all sides.

It’s a flat and fast course which maximizes fun, and we’re bringing back the 2025 layout with an extended singletrack section which received rave reviews. Orangevale still throws all the cross features at you to break up the lap, with several logs to hop, the arena sand, Belgian stairs, grassy turns, and dry creek crossings to bring the roller coaster effect.

We’ll run the course in different directions on Saturday & Sunday to keep you on your toes.

Hey parents! Did you know we have a free Kids Cross race for ages 9 & under at 12:15pm at every Sacramento Cyclocross race?

All skill levels are welcome! Kids do one modified lap of our course (0.5-1 mile), navigating small obstacles and different terrain. It's just for fun, not timed, so there's no pressure!

🏁 What: Kids Cross Race for Ages 9 & Under
🕛 When: Race starts at 12:15 PM
🌳 Where: Next race is October 10 & 11 at Orangevale Park
🚲 How to register: Registration is free, and done onsite by signing a waiver. No online registration.
