Beda Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - Folsom

He who fears the Lord is blessed with all protection and security, strength and refuge for his children too. The fear of the LORD is a source of life, and is able to save us from the snares of death. Proverbs, 14:26-27.
The Word of God makes it very clear that the Lord blesses all who fear him and walk in his ways. The achievements extend to their descendants up to a thousand generations. All kinds of spiritual victories are upon those who have united themselves with Christ Jesus.

Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:18.

The children of God are people who know how to give thanks for everything, because they know that the LORD will always supply their needs when they trust and give thanks. Being a just and loving father, the LORD knows our every need.
We are not always granted our requests, but we know that his will is always far above our expectations, because it is good, perfect and pleasant.
Giving thanks is the least we can do, because no matter the circumstances, the LORD is always in control of everything.
He is GOD!

We are responsible for our attitudes, actions and decisions resulting from feelings or some thoughts that the LORD does not approve. Just like the psalmist, in our daily prayers, we need not only to seek the LORD's forgiveness but also to place ourselves before Him to examine our hearts, allowing the action of the Holy Spirit to show us where we need to change, fix our steps, walk in the light and in total dependence on Him.

Our boy earned his gray/white belt this weekend. He ran to his dad when his name was called, gave a little point to himself, and had the biggest smile on his face. This kid works hard on the mat. I love his smash, pass, and take the back. He just turned five. With all of those amazing black belts supporting him especially his dad, how could this boy not feel the love and support❤️

Fourteen years as a black belt this month, also known as a 4th degree. Eli’s friend and long time teammate was able to make the trip up and present him with a belt and certificate from his coach . Each one of his black belts said a little something about him, and it was truly heart felt. Eli shows up everyday, trains, motivates, and inspires. His character and moral fiber is without change.
