We wanted to send a quick update out to our followers that the club is still on hiatus during the pandemic. We will depend upon health officials to determine when it might be safe to ride together again. In the meantime, please follow health guidelines regarding wearing a mask and practicing social distancing. Take care and be safe out there.

As we SIP waiting for a sign that it’s safe to ride in big groups again, I recall a ride that the group did years ago out towards Ione. We stopped at the golf course for a quick break. I know that some places don’t really appreciate a swarm of riders stopping, but this place seemed especially upset at us for some reason! 🤔🤣

Officials to reopen American River Bike Trail Saturday

The forecast for this weekend is calling for clear, cool, sunny skies. Perfect weather for either riding, or even watching a bike race in our own backyard. Saturday is the 2020 Folsom Winter Criterium right off of Blue Ravine road and Folsom Blvd in Folsom. Many a CF rider have gone on to race and this event is one of the most popular. Grab some coffee and a lawn chair and watch, or bring your bike and sign up and race.
