Phixius Disc Sports

This week was a busy week for Phixius. Earlier this week Team member Seth Lulloff picked up his Discmania Team stamped discs, and today the newest Team member Brandon Watson picked up his Dynamic Team stamped discs in a partnership with Mr Disc Golf.

Been a bit of a hiatus as Phixius was working on its current facility on 1333 capital drive. This summer Phixius team members have played in numerous events. Scott McDermott continues to win A-tiers and Fred Schallert took home Advanced Masters at the most recent Northwoods open to highlight a few. But Marcus Grier, Jeff Unferth, Mike Matteson, Gabe Tousey and Seth Lulloff have been active all summer.

Today Phixius would like to announce the addition of Brandon Watson to its 2015-2016 team. Brandon in addition to being an excellent open division player is an active promoter of disc golf and now one of the TDs of the Sheboygan area tournaments. Brandon will be an excellent addition to the team. Bringing Brandon into the fold will mean some Team Phixius stamped trilogy is on its way. Existing team members with a trilogy need can contact me directly and we will make sure you're needs are met as well.

I also have plans to restock on other team stamped discs and run the CD/Fever before the calender year closes. So we will make sure to get those team discs into players hands before too long.

Crongrats to Fred Schallert winning the Monroy Gowens in intermediate. Fred had to play a couple of extra holes claiming victory in a playoff. Gabe Tousey also shot well for Phixius this weekend finishing 9th also in intermediate. Nice shooting guys.

Team Phixius had a strong showing at the nwo. Fred Schallert took third with a strong second round in the short placement in intermediate. Mike Mike Matteson took 4rth and Gabe Gabe Tousey taking 8th. Jeff Jeffrey Unferth took 7th in advanced. All in all a pretty good weekend of relaxation and disc golf on one of the sports most unique beautiful venues.

I am probably going to expand the line of Team stamped discs yet this year, so Team members what is in your bag, what do we need to get?

Team Phixius stamped innova will be out at the course today, anyone who wishes to purchase some may do so after Sponsored players Jeff Unferth and Gabe Tousey receive their discs. Team stamped Discraft is already for sale in the shop. I will be bringing Cranks and Atlas' to the course for your perusal as well.

What was Team Phixius up to this past weekend? Team Member Scott McDermott was winning the Advanced Masters division at a the Mad City Open an A Tier event. Scott shot 3 good rounds from the longs to win it. Great win for Scott and Phixius, his second A tier in a row.

Good play from Gabe Tousey and Fred Schallert this weekend as well.

Team Phixius had a strong showing at the Saukville Open, with Jeff Unferth taking 3rd in advanced. Well done sir, and well done to Fondy and Beaver Dam club members Seth Lulloff and Gabe Tousey. Team Phixius was also spreading the word on the other side of the Mississippi playing rounds in Winona this weekend, albeit in a more casual fashion.

Cogratulations are in order to Team Phixius Members Scott McDermott, Fred Schallert, and Jeffrey Unferth for playing well this past weekend at the Silver Cup tournament. Special Congratulations to Scott for bringing home first place in the Advanced Grand Masters division. Well done team.
