FBF: I just recently found out that our dragster was chassis no 27 out of Don Longs chassis shop and the 1st to roll out his door in 1968.

Spent the last week at the March Meet shooting photos and I wanted to stop and say hello to Dennis during our down time, His tree is looking great and there was a super rare 67 Chevelle 300 parked in front of it.

Super low res and not a very good photo however this was sent to me by a driver that uses to drive the dragster and it’s our dragster being raced in the 80’s before we found it for sell in 1990.

Hard to believe someone would do this to a EX TF car that won best engineered in 1971. We are still trying to find any lost history of the car from the date Jim Busby sold it to the next owner.

This is the most recent info I have found. The dragster came to AZ from a guy named John Jones in Holbrook AZ and it was raced at Winslow then it was sold to Dick Knudsen in Holbrook and that’s the guy Dennis bought it from. If you know anything please contact me so I can fill in any other info.
