Fontana American Little League

We are a community based organization who's number one commitment and focus is on today's youth! T-ball through Sr. League players.

Our goal is to give every child an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of baseball/softball and have fun while doing so. We offer an excellent little league sports program with plenty of teams. We offer opportunity for year round baseball. We offer programs focused on player development, growth, and having fun. We offer training and mentoring for first time coaches! We even have coaches that have been certified to teach the game of baseball from a professional point of view!

It is with heavy hearts that we share with you that James Lynn Durrett has passed away today at the age of 72. Lynn was part of Fontana American Little League for many many years, holding the position of President from 2002 to 2017. You may remember him speeding around the park on that golf cart. He was a force both on and off the field. He had said during his final Opening Day as a retired President, that Little League was more than just baseball. You will meet people here on these fields that will become friends and if you are lucky, they will become lifelong friends.

Lynn, your passion for your family, friends and the League will be remembered always. You will be missed.

A celebration of Lynn’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks, memorial donations may be made to Lynn’s most beloved organization, Fontana American Little League.

We are in need of managers as we rely on volunteers for our program.

We need managers in the following divisions:

Farm baseball and softball (ages 6-8)
Minor baseball (ages 9 to 11)
Junior baseball (ages 13 &14)
