September 2026
"May every sunrise hold more promise and every sunset hold more peace." ~ Umair Siddiqui
Flying is something that still amazes me. You're in a plane, 30k feet in the air and when you look out the window sometimes you see the most beautiful things. I have taken many pictures over the years during flight and be fortunate to capture awe-inspiring beauty. This one was taken on my way back from the west coast and while the sunset initially grabbed my attention, it was the crescent moon that made me pause. At thirty thousand feet, it's hard not to feel small and realize that while we're busy planning tomorrow, nature quietly reminds us to appreciate today.

Every morning begins with possibility.
Not because every day is extraordinary, but because every day gives us another chance to choose how we'll move through it. Some days we'll make progress and other days we'll simply make it through. The important thing to remember is that BOTH COUNT.
As the pace picks up this month and we settle back into our routines after summer, it's easy to measure our days by how much we accomplished. I wonder if a better measure is how we treated ourselves and the people around us while we were accomplishing it.
Did we listen? Did we laugh? Did we make time for someone who needed us? Did we give ourselves permission to pause before moving on to the next thing?
The sunrise doesn't promise a perfect day. The sunset doesn't ask whether you finished your to-do list. They simply remind us that every day has a beginning and an end, and what we choose to do in between becomes our life.
As September unfolds, I hope your mornings inspire possibility and your evenings bring the kind of peace that comes from knowing you lived the day well.
With gratitude,
Sarah
