Today I want to take a moment to recognize someone truly special.
Brenda has officially earned her first stripe on her brown belt—a milestone that represents not just skill, but years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to growth.
Before coming to me in 2019, she already had years of experience in Mixed Martial Arts. But what she has become since then… is something far greater than just a martial artist.
She has evolved into an incredible competitor, teammate, coach, and leader—and the proud academy owner and head instructor of
Watching her transform over the years, not just in skill but as a human being, has been one of the greatest honors of my journey as an instructor.
I see the weight she carries every single day.
As a mother.
As a coach.
As a teammate.
As a business owner managing multiple responsibilities.
And yet… she continues to show up. She continues to grow. She continues to inspire.
