This event is held in honor of Lino Lakes Officer Shawn Silvera, who was killed in the line of duty on September 6, 2005. Shawn lived his short life in service to others and so we celebrate his legacy, raising money for charitable organizations that enhance the lives of others. We invite all runners, walkers and toddlers to celebrate with us – every number has a story! We are honored each year to hear of race participants who use this event to celebrate their own stories. We have been made aware of a possible timing error that may have impacted the team results announced earlier. To ensure accuracy and fairness for all participants, we are reviewing the race data and team standings. We expect to have an update and finalized team results posted tomorrow.
