My condolences to Jim Ryan and his family. I had the great honor and privilege of interviewing Jim and Marie Ryan in 2009 after their son, Patrick, committed su***de.
The Ryans had great compassion and empathy for others and did all they could to make a differeence in many important ways.
They told me that by sharing their story, they were holding onto hope that someone might see the interview and get professional help.
