Here are a few of the handmade knives that will be available tomorrow Saturday December 13th from 9:00 to 12:00 at the Forest Farmers Holiday Market. This is a great opportunity to finish your Christmas shopping, while supporting local businesses!
Fresh out of the cryo process and ready for their next transformation — these blades are on their way to becoming kitchen knives that will work as good as they look. ❄️🔥
Cryo treatment helps refine the steel structure, boosting hardness, edge retention, and overall performance. Now it’s time for grinding, shaping, and bringing out the final personality of each knife.
Watching these pieces evolve from raw steel to precision tools never gets old. 🛠️🍽️

Getting this blade ready for heat treat by applying the clay for the hamon. 🔥
This step is what helps create that beautiful, one-of-a-kind hamon line once the blade is hardened and polished. Each one comes out a little different — that’s the art in the process.
