When your coach promises that you can spray her hair blue if you win your tournament you need to seize the moment! Our U11 girls battled the elements and their opponents to win their division in the Blue Ridge Cup over the weekend. They scored early to secure a win in their first game before lightning forced an early end to the match on Saturday, and didn't concede a goal the entire weekend. Well done players and coaches!

Our academy coaches are great both on and off the soccer field, and today was a great demonstration. At our games this morning, one coach noticed a raccoon arm sticking out of a small hole in a dumpster. They cautiously flipped the lid so the raccoon could get out. Unfortunately, that did not work because the dumpster was empty. Enter some ingenuity and a long branch, and voila: rescue complete. Well done Coach Mike and Coach Ryan!
