A question has been ask

why does the arena have certain days for certain type of riding and barrel racers cannot come in every day of the week and run - reason is a this is trial period

Unfortunately - there is not someone up there to drag all the time after each rider comes into ride

So to start with we set up different days to see who would be riding - and who would be participating

At this point Monday is open to those who want to rent it for their personal use and no one else being- so can be rented by the hour

We chose Tuesday for those that want to ride pleasure without having Barrel racing to tear up the Arena (as so many barrel racers go to jackpots on ties evening ) and as we don’t have someone to drag all the time

Anyone can go up there on Tuesdays and ride they just can’t run barrels or other speed events

Wednesday, we have it set for Barrels and speed events because we do have a person on Wednesday evenings that can be up there to drag and are able to have staff during the day to check the arena as no sport events on Wednesday

Thursdays again is open to pleasure but the Arena get shut down early at 3 o’clock so that they can get ready for the Thursday evening rental of the Arena

Friday Saturday, and Sundays is open to anyone (as long as arena is not rented for an event)

Barrels can be set up
There will be not be someone to drag -

We want this arena for all styles of riding - pleasure - reining - ranch - English - jumping - speed - trail - etc

As I said, this is a trial and error to see who uses the Arena on what days

We’re not saying that barrel people cannot come up there and we’re just saying that no barrel or speed props runs can be set up so no pole bending no cones no Texas no Barrels , none of the speed event events can be set up on Tuesday and Thursday

we’re trying to make it fair for everyone to be able to ride in the arena and use it

we have had complaints before the Arena shut down that those that did not barrel race cannot use the arena due to the the arena was so tore up

And again this is trial and error
It may change, but this is how we have it set at this time

We will see how things go 

And pray and hope all understand
