You know, just over here stepping into 2020 ready to take the biggest risk yet: WE’RE HIRING!

With everything coming this year for and the it’s time to bring on a team, starting with the Director of Marketing role I’ve been dreaming of for years.

This person is the integrator to my vision. The executor of the big plan. The believer, the anticipator, the expert, the innovator, and the all around badass that is in it for the mission as much as for the money.

We are headed into 10 cities in early 2020 (more info to come) with our in-person mastermind groups for entrepreneurial women, and many more to come as the year goes on. We also have a pipeline of digital products, physical products, and other high-level service based offerings for entrepreneurial women like done-for-you digital marketing, VIP level strategy consulting, and exec mentorship directly with me coming this year.

Suffice it to say it’s time to finally go BIG with this company I’ve been building for 5 years. And it starts with this position. Know someone that would be a good fit? Tag them!

Letters from home💙💙

Thank you all for the birthday messages and texts and (thankfully) no phone calls except from my mom of course.

I feel very grateful and alive and motivated to give these two a spectacular life full of curiosity, adventure, and love.

Most people think of as a retail company, but ask any ambassador and we will tell you they are SO much more than that. lululemon is a personal development company who uses it’s incredible retail products as the medium for human connection. .

Throughout my tenure as an ambassador I’ve had the privilege of attending several of these spectacular ambassador experiences. Meticulously planned and executed, lululemon goes out of their way to honor us as leaders, influencers, and community builders...while also holding up the mirror that our work as humans is never done.

This week was no exception; however what was exceptional was the additional effort they put in to making me feel welcome and honored as a postpartum mama with her 3 week old in tow. It feels damn good to be around other leaders who are also so accepting of and interested in supporting motherhood as part of what makes us so good at what we do. Even more so when they’ll hold your baby for you while you pump in the back of the room🙌

So, to my Rockies region family - I am grateful, I am humbled, I am inspired AF. Every person in the room, staff and ambassadors alike, reminded me that it’s ok to slow down through this season of life...and they also reminded me that there is no reason for motherhood to mean I can’t also achieve every single BIG goal I set this week. Something I really needed to hear.

We are one week into life on the other side of the womb over here and loving it!

Wesley Everett Custer was born last Monday 5/27 at 10:46am after surprising us a day before my scheduled C Section. We lucked out though and had the best Labor & Delivery nurses and staff who made it feel calm and smooth. Props to for making the experience so good this second time around.

C Section recovery is no freakin joke, so I’ve been laying low soaking up this time with my newborn and watching his big brother love on him (and occasionally “love” a little too rough😂😬)

I think the best word for the transition to 2 kids was from my friend who called it “dynamic AF”. Truth!! All the mama emotions of the heart expanding to so deeply love two little beings, all the physical pain of childbirth recovery and breastfeeding, all the friends and family visits and doctor check ups and swollen EVERYTHING. Gah, it’s a lot. But, it goes so fast and it’s all so freakin cool to witness. Motherhood really is as awe-inspiring as it is hard.

Thank you to everyone for the messages and gifts and FOOD!!🙌 We appreciate you all so much!!

I used to lament the lack of support I felt from women and, in turn, gave to women...and blamed it for my lack of success. In the corporate world I was taught to be competitive, not collaborative, and it showed when I set out into full-time entrepreneurship in 2014. I had no tools to connect with, learn from, and be supported by other women like me.

Fast forward to today, and I’m a week out from launching my second in-person Mastermind group for entrepreneurial and professional women.

Mastermind days are my absolute favorite because the women in them are so freakin inspiring and hardworking in pursuit of their goals, but also because every single one of them has become a friend of mine that I’m personally invested in seeing succeed. It literally makes me tear up thinking about it. I love them all!!

So, if you’re looking for support from other women around your goals, your growth, and your challenges...I highly recommend finding an in-person group like this. Tell me, does this happen to you too? I have a million things on my mind and like 6 whiteboards, 3 notebooks, and a huge computer in my office to write them down on...but nothing comes out.

I literally do this work for a living - taking ideas and turning them into actionable strategies and then helping people make them reality, and yet faced with my own big idea that needs to become reality before it eats me up from the inside and I’m just freakin STUCK.

Blah. My brain is in third trimester haze and there is some huge super moon tomorrow again and all my self doubt and imposter syndrome demons are waking up for Spring despite how well supported I am in my life with mentors and coaches and friends and family and I just wanted to be honest about it here so no one ever thinks that the people who look like they’re kicking ass at lots of things simultaneously actually have their s**t together in any way. Cause we don’t. And that was a huge run-on sentence back there to prove it.

Gonna go pick up some fancy coffee and get some sunshine. And then try this brain-to-reality process again🤪

January felt like the longest month ever, and then just like that, we’re halfway through February.

As we head out of the yin season of winter into the warmer and brighter days of spring, we have the opportunity to mindfully preserve the slower pace and softer approach that yin teaches us. To take time to be still, to explore and honor our darkness, and to learn to find a sense of ease even when we are uncomfortable.
