It’s the end of an era..

Sugar Beets Cycling was an idea sparked by 2 elite MTB racers who wanted a platform to race supported. We wanted to bridge the gap between top Cat 1 racers and Pro level.

We did just that.

We lined up next to Kate Courtney, Chloe Woodruff, and Katerina Nash.

We raced national level courses across the country.

We didn’t finish last.

Hopefully somewhere along the way we inspired you to do the same. To push yourself into an uncomfortable place and see how much damn fun it could be! Maybe your win was riding the dams for the first time, maybe it was competing in your first race, or maybe it was leveling up your category—congrats for doing the f*ing thing!

To every woman who raced for The Beets—you are incredibly talented and fierce! I’m a better athlete because of time spent with you, and I hope you feel the same.

To all of our sponsors and supporters—you helped fund The Dream and I never would have had the opportunity to be pulled from a Pro Crit in Arizona without you.

To every girl who wants to race mountain bikes—you are so strong! Every ride, every race is an opportunity to grow and improve. Don’t worry if you suck at first. You’ll get better and better. It took me 10 years to move from Cat 3 to Pro. Be patient and keep shredding.

The long awaited return of one of NoCo's most revered bike events is happening THIS SUNDAY!!

The Beets will be slinging stickers for those extra watts and peddling bike parts, pieces, and pants. Amongst other things. There will be 40+ other orgs and folks with outdoor and bike gear too! We'll be accepting Venmo and cash.

Make it a date night or a gal pal night, pick up some new to you stuffs, and be ready for Rio marg or two 😋
