Today is a very sad day! I just received the news that Grandmaster Barbara Davis has pasted away. I can not put into words how much she has done for me and so many others! She was one of my favorite instructors back in the 80's when I trained at Kang Rhee Karate Institute ( Pasaryu Martial Arts) in Memphis. I am so happy to have reunited with her after 30 years at the United States Hall of Fame event in 2017. She was tough and mean but as caring as a grandmother. I am honored to have had her mentorship in my life. YOU WILL BE MISSED! RESPECT ALWAYS!

Merry Christmas Curtana Family and Friends!

The swords used in the King's coronation ceremony, explained 05/08/2023

Where the name "CURTANA" came from and the means. Our logo is three crosses over the world. After attending a Krav Mega coarse we decide to alter the original logo to change the center cross to a sword as the Krav Mega logo was a sword with wings. After much prayer God showed us the Curtana name and it fit PERFECT. "The Sword of Mercy" - Christ dying for our sins, true mercy - So our three crosses also represent three swords. The center cross or sword represents Christ dying for our sins, next the "Sword of Templar Justice - the thief that denied Christ on the cross received world justice and finally "The Sword of the Church or Spiritual Justice represents the thief that accepted Christ as Lord and Savior received Spiritual justice. When we share the message and meaning of "Curtana" we also are sharing the work done at Calvary! swordshttps://inews.co.uk/news/coronation-swords-history-royal-blades-king-charles-crowned-2321130

This is the belt of Grandmaster Robert Blackstone my mentor and friend and it says it all! "When you really understand who the "MASTER" is!!! We no longer worship, serve or teach of the "sun god" but, are sold out to the true "SON OF GOD" It is amazing how much Christianity and the Martial Arts are similar. Both make disciples and both have Masters. GM. Blackstone, myself and so many other martial artist have found the wisdom in both and how to share Christ through our passion and understanding of the arts. God Bless you sir!
