Crazy Legs Race Series

Indiana Dunes State Park Clean-Ups this morning at 8 am meet at the pavilion. Waves will be high and temperatures in the 60’s. This event is in partnership with Friends of Indiana Dunes, Inc.

This Sunday, June 14, (8:00am – 10:00am),FRIENDS of Indiana Dunes are again partnering with our friends Crazy Legs Race Series for the second of four Indiana Dunes State Park Beach Clean-ups this summer.

We welcome all groups, families, and individuals to join us. Drinking Water and limited Gloves, Trash Buckets, and Grabbers will be provided. Meet us at the FRIENDS of Indiana Dunes table located east of the pavilion.

SAVE THE DATES: Future scheduled beach clean-up dates are Sundays, July 26, and August 30. All clean-ups start at 8:00am and end at 10:00am.

This wonderful partnership is one of the many ways FRIENDS of Indiana Dunes partner and work with our communities and other eco-friendly groups to enhance visitor enjoyment of the Indiana Dunes. This Saturday please join me at Crazy Legs Race Series at MC Pride Fest in Michigan City. I will be selling previous Love is Love 5k Run/Walk shirts for $10 benefiting LGBTQ Outreach of Porter County. I will be at the fest from 1:00 pm till 6:00 pm. Stop by my booth for special discount code to receive money off registration fee for the run or walk occurring on June 21st.

A huge thank you to the group from Indiana that came and ran my Crazy Legs 10k Trail Run in Colorado. It was the final year and after 18 years it is time to retire the event. It was the first race I ever directed. I have gone on to direct over 100 races since then. But this one was my baby 😭
