“Murph” 🇺🇸
“In memory of Navy Lieutenant Michael Murphy, 29, of Patchogue, N.Y., who was killed in Afghanistan, June 28, 2005. This workout was one of Mike’s favorites and he’d named it ‘Body Armor.’ From here on, it will be referred to as ‘Murph’ in honor of the focused warrior and great American who wanted nothing more in life than to serve this great country and the beautiful people who make it what it is.”

Monday is coming up and we wanted to give you some different ways to approach “Murph” while staying injury-free and feeling good the rest of the week!
No matter how you tackle “Murph,” be smart about it. Hero workouts are meant to challenge us physically and mentally, not leave us hurting. We can still honor these heroes and get an incredible workout in without pushing beyond what our bodies are ready for.
Not sure how to approach Monday’s workout? A coach will help you find the best game plan for your fitness level and goals.

Memorial Day Murph is just 2 weeks away!
This year we’ll be switching things up with two class times:
• 8:00 AM
• 9:00 AM
Like any CrossFit workout, Murph should be approached in the way that’s best for you. Options include:
• 1/4 Murph
• 1/2 Murph
• Partner Murph
• Full Murph (with or without a weight vest)
Not sure which version to tackle? Don’t worry, a coach will help you choose the right option and strategy for the day.
We can’t wait to throw down together as we honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. 🇺🇸
*We love having new people try CrossFit, but Memorial Day Murph is not the best introduction to the sport, so please do not bring friends to this workout.
