Congratulations to our Head Coach, Talladega Nate, on his reelection!

The JRDA welcomes Nathan Mares to another term as our Treasurer!

Nathan AKA “Talladega Nate” has been involved with roller derby since 2010, coaching at Slaughterhouse Roller Derby from 2010 through 2014, Head Coach of Cheyenne Capidolls from 2014 thru 2015, and Head Coach and President of FoCo Junior Roller Derby from 2016 to the present.

In January 2021 Nate became the JRDA NW Regional Coordinator. In August 2023 he was elected Treasurer and completed his first term serving with dedication.

A native Coloradan, Nate has two kids. Nathan enjoys fishing, hiking, camping, traveling, fish keeper and snowboarding.

One of Nate's goals is teaching the kids to find the WHY!, and that with some hard work and dedication you can achieve anything.

Help keep us rolling!

Five days.

Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day begins September 1 at 6:00 PM MT, and your gift to Colorado Legacy can go even further.

Online donations made through ColoradoGives.org will be matched dollar for dollar while funds remain in the 1:1 Match Pool. After that pool is exhausted, gifts will continue to receive a proportional match through the Incentive Fund until September 15.

Your support helps Colorado Legacy’s junior program, FoCo Junior Roller Derby, provide equipment, scholarships, training, and competitive opportunities for young athletes, creating a place where they can build confidence, resilience, leadership, and a sense of belonging.

Mark your calendar.

Give early.

Build their Legacy.
