We are excited to part of the Juneteenth fair. We will also have students performing and an opportunity for the community to learn and break a board! Thanks for including us in this year’s celebration and providing the boards!

Please help me welcome our first class of Karnos Kim Taekwondo black belts, Chérif and Marvin! Marvin joined us for our first afterschool class back in 2018, when he was just a Kindergartener. We have gotten to see him grow and couldn’t be prouder of his accomplishment. Chérif joined us 2 years ago after his family moved here from overseas. He is a leader in our afterschool program. We are proud of his hard work to make it to black belt. Lastly, a special thank you to Grandmaster Bill Pottle for attending and certifying their black belts.

It takes courage to test your skills against your peers and that’s what 5 of our students did this weekend. They upheld the tenant of indomitable spirit as they competed in events and preserved through nervousness and tiredness. I’m very proud to of the students who represented our school. Congratulations to them all on their golds, silvers, and bronzes.

Congratulations to all of our new color belts! I am really proud of our students from the ones who have been with us since we started 6 years ago to the ones who started this year. You never know where your taekwondo journey will take you. I thankful you are all a part of mine and it’s a privilege to be part of yours.
