Hey MSC hope everyone is staying safe and getting through this troubling and weird last week! Safety first and foremost, but I wanted to give everybody a rundown on our start dates for the season as well as times each group is gonna be swimming. I went by the pool the other day just to check in and all is good as they are doing small repairs at the HS overall getting ready to open back up!

TRYOUTS will be 9/9-11/26 from 5-7pm. Pass it along!

N2/Bronze - starting Sept 8th (Tues) and will go through Thursday each week from 530-630pm. We will adjust for “A” group after the first week or so but will have everyone be released at 630pm to start the season.
Ty
Silver - starting Sept 8th 6-730pm that first week…NO Saturday week #1

Gold - starting 8/31 from 5-7pm those first couple of weeks. We will adjust workouts to finish at 715pm into Sept. NO Saturday week #1

Senior/HS - starting 8/31 315-515pm those first few weeks. We will adjust accordingly after that. NO Saturday week #1

Again all is good to start up in a few weeks right now as I have gotten no information to state otherwise. I was going to get a hardcopy schedule posted and up and out before the storm hit right as I got back from junior nationals so that will be another week or so but any updates I will try to email or put on the club and parent page here.

We have some very exciting news to share. Coach Eric and Coach Haley got engaged yesterday!!!

Yesterday concluded the 2026 summer season with our girls racing the final day at summer juniors! Mia finished up with a solid 2:41.61 200m breaststroke & a 2:27.36 200m IM and now has a few days off before attending the junior Pan Pac Indiana camp being held back here in Mission Viejo, CA later this next week…good luck Mia!

Lilly threw down some nice swims finishing up as well including a 1:04.86 100m backstroke, a 18th place 50m Butterfly finish and team record (27.57) as well as a strong 50m free finish and team record (26.44)

Congrats girls and all of MSC as we close the books on a very successful Summer 2026! Couple weeks off before we’re back at it again in September. Start the school year off strong also MSC…act the part 👍🔥⚡️

Day 3 of Junior Nationals proved to be nothing but awesome for MSC and Lilly King as she not only qualified for finals (17th) in the 100m butterfly, but also broke the team record twice (former 1:01.94 Nikki Smith) and going a 1:01.56 in prelims and then again a 1:01.13 in finals while also getting her Senior National cut in the process…congrats Lilly keep it up!

We have the 50 Butterfly, 100 backstroke, and a 200m Breaststroke (Mia) incoming this morning to wreak havoc on…go get em ladies!

Throwing in the class of 2028 Indiana top 20 recruits just to brag on these girls as well…

We have 2 girls competing out here in Irvine, CA this week at the Speedo Junior National Championships which hosts 5 days of swims for the top 18 & Unders in the country…

Mia Terfler and Lilly King are representing Munster Swim Club this week swimming all 5 days and already producing some awesome results:

Monday - Mia 100m breaststroke (1:14.62) / Lilly 50m Backstroke (30.23 - new MSC Team Record)

Tuesday - Lilly threw down a best time in the 100m free with a 57.58 (heat domination)

We have a 100m Butterfly this AM from Lilly as well to start the day!!
