🚨 BREAKING 2A NEWS | MAJOR ATF UPDATE! 🇺🇸

🔥 NO MORE MANDATORY NFA APPROVAL FOR SUPPRESSORS!

Effective October 9, 2026, the ATF announced a major change in federal enforcement policy following a federal court ruling!

💥 HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

✅ $0 NFA making and transfer tax on suppressors, SBRs, SBSs, and AOWs.

✅ ATF will no longer require NFA approval before making or transferring these items.

✅ Mandatory NFA registration will no longer be enforced for these items under the announced policy.

✅ Voluntary NFA registration remains available.

⚠️ BUT DON’T GET IT TWISTED!

❌ State and local fi***rm laws STILL APPLY.

❌ Federal background checks and Gun Control Act requirements remain in effect.

❌ Machine guns and destructive devices are NOT included in this change.

❌ Certain interstate transportation requirements still apply.

🚨 SUPPRESSORS ARE NOT LEGAL EVERYWHERE 🇺🇸

While the recent federal suppressor ruling is a major development, state law still matters.

❌ Suppressors remain prohibited for general civilian possession in:

📍 California
📍 Delaware
📍 Hawaii
📍 Illinois
📍 Massachusetts
📍 New Jersey
📍 New York
📍 Rhode Island

⚠️ Washington, D.C. also prohibits suppressors.

A federal court ruling does not automatically override state prohibitions. Before purchasing, possessing, or traveling with a suppressor, know the laws where you live and where you’re going.

The suppressor landscape is changing quickly, but freedom isn’t one-size-fits-all from state to state.

🚨 27 STATES. MAJOR SUPPRESSOR UPDATE. 🇺🇸

The suppressor landscape is changing fast.

Following the federal court ruling in Silencer Shop Foundation v. ATF, covered suppressor purchases in 27 states may now qualify for transfer without the traditional NFA Form 4 registration process.

That can mean:

✅ No Form 4
✅ No fingerprints or passport photos
✅ No months waiting for ATF approval
✅ No $200 federal tax stamp
✅ Standard Form 4473 + background check for qualifying transactions

🌴 FLORIDA IS ONE OF THE 27 STATES.

⚠️ This does not mean the NFA has disappeared nationwide. The injunction applies to covered plaintiffs, customers/members and qualifying transactions. State laws still apply, and your dealer must participate in the new process.

Before purchasing, confirm with your dealer that your transaction qualifies under the injunction.

AWI Precision will continue following this developing ruling and keeping the fi***rms community informed.

🚨 MAJOR SUPPRESSOR LAW UPDATE — FLORIDA GUN OWNERS NEED TO KNOW! 🇺🇸🌴

A major federal court ruling has changed the landscape surrounding suppressors and the NFA.

Effective August 13, 2026, a federal injunction is now in effect that may allow qualifying customers of protected plaintiffs to purchase suppressors without going through the traditional NFA registration process.

That could mean, for qualifying transactions:

✅ No ATF Form 4
✅ No NFA registration
✅ No fingerprints or passport photos
✅ No waiting months for ATF approval
✅ $0 federal suppressor tax
➡️ Form 4473 + required background check instead

⚠️ IMPORTANT: This is not a blanket nationwide repeal of the NFA. The injunction protects specific plaintiffs and qualifying customers/members, and dealer participation matters. Florida and other applicable laws still apply.

Before purchasing, confirm directly with your dealer that they are processing suppressor transfers under the new injunction.

This is a developing situation, so expect additional guidance, litigation, and possible changes.
