How to Fight From Your Car

Your car is not cover. Glass and sheet metal do not stop bullets. The engine block is the only part of a vehicle that reliably will, and almost nobody has practiced getting to it.

Real footage from our vehicle course: drawing from a seated position with the belt on, working the door as a barrier, and moving away from the vehicle instead of hugging it.

Courses run in Miami Beach, Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.

It’s been a while since I’ve seen Teresa.

She picked up her SIG P365 and shot it like she never put it down. Like riding a bike.

Good fundamentals are hard to forget.

Glad to have her back on the range.

Private handgun lessons now available in Fort Lauderdale and throughout South Florida.

Most people who own a precision r***e have never shot it past 100 yards. Real precision work starts at a confirmed zero and goes out to 500+ yards: trigger control, distance fire, live ballistics and wind calls. Real positions, not a bench. One-on-one, just south of Miami.

Everybody wants to be good. Not everybody wants to be new first.

Tyler showed up, got some reps in, learned a few things, laughed a little, and left better than he came.

That’s the whole point.

New shooters are welcome here. No ego. No pressure. Just safe reps, good coaching, and getting more comfortable one session at a time.

If you’ve been thinking about learning but feel awkward starting, this is your sign.

Message Tactical U and let’s get you on the range.

Reloads With Retention: Fresh Mag First

A reload with retention is not an emergency reload.

If the gun is empty, get it running.

This is for a lull, cover, movement, uncertainty, or when you have time to top off without throwing away am******on.

The mistake is making two trips:

Partial mag out.
Stow partial.
Grab fresh mag.
Back to the gun.

That works administratively, but it keeps the gun out of service longer than necessary.

The cleaner method:

Grab the fresh magazine first.
Bring it to the pistol.
Remove the partial magazine.
Insert the fresh magazine.
Then stow the partial.

The priority is simple:

Gun back in service first.
Partial magazine managed second.

There are different retention paths and hand methods, but the principle stays the same:

Fresh mag first.
Swap at the gun.
Seat the fresh mag.
Stow the partial last.

Train it slow. Clean it up. Then add speed.
