United Grid League Want to play in 2026? Click the link to learn more. GRID is the future of team sports.

Men and women compete side by side with various specialties and body types working together in the ultimate race-based game of teamwork and strategy. Two teams race head-to-head to complete a series of weightlifting, body-weight, and other athletic elements. The FGL uses two versions of the sport with GRID 6 (6 person teams for anyone) and The FGL Season (14 person teams for higher level players). Teams are composed of an equal number of male and female players who can be:

--> bodyweight specialists
--> heavy weight specialists
--> generalists who can perform a variety of movements

Players use the strengths that suit them to best contribute to their team.

Congrats to Janine Nicole of the Fort Lauderdale Lions and Dalton Markowich of the UGL camera crew, the 2026 co-winners of the Soul of the Grid League. They had a tie in the votes so we split the award between the two!

The Soul of the Grid League is an award voted on by the teams and staff in the League, following all other award voting rules. The ballot defines it as the person who most exemplifies a positive influence on the League and the perpetuation of the sport of GRID, someone you are proud of as a representative of this sport. Janine and Dalton tied with 4 votes each.

The voting process:

Each team gets up to 5 votes made by team leaders as selected by head coach and/or owner. League gets 5 votes from League officials.
