In just one season with Fort Miami she’s become a versatile back who’s always willing to step in wherever needed continuing to push herself to grow, learn, and elevate her game every chance she gets. As Fort Miami’s leading point scorer this season, she’s proven just how dangerous she can be on the field.

In just a year and a half of playing rugby, she’s already made a huge impact. From starting out in the forward pack to thriving at fullback and wing, V continues to show up and show out every time she steps on the field. Between her athleticism, versatility, and phenomenal kicking game, she’s become a serious weapon out there.

Fort Miami is recruiting a Head Coach and Assistant Coach or an established coaching team (2–3 coaches) to lead and grow our women’s rugby program across Fort Lauderdale & Miami.

We’re looking for leaders who are passionate about developing athletes, building culture, and elevating the women’s game at every level.

• Level 200 Coaching Certification
• Strong leadership & communication skills
• Passion for growing women’s rugby
• Commitment to athlete development & team culture

It’s hard to sum up four years of impact in one post, because what you gave this team goes far beyond rugby.

You didn’t just show up to coach - you showed up for people. You built something that became a home for so many of us. From the chaos and laughter of Halloween parties, to slip & flip birthdays, to sharing Carolina Gold chicken wings at Jesse’s, to the nights where your place became somewhere we could all land after long nights… you created a space for everyone.

On the field, you pushed us to be better (while out running all of us😂), to work harder, to stay disciplined, and to hold ourselves and each other to a higher standard. But off the field, you taught us just as much about showing up for one another, building real connections, and what it means to be part of something bigger than ourselves.

You gave your time, your energy, and so much of yourself to this team, and that doesn’t go unnoticed. Fort Miami is what it is today because of you.

This isn’t just the end of a chapter, it’s a legacy you’re leaving behind in every single one of us.

A true bright light✨ Don’t let the big smile and pink scrunchies fool you. She hits hard, finds dangerous line breaks, and just when you think you’ve got her pinned, she’s already back up and coming for more.

Her rugby journey began in Canada, where she first picked up the game and fell in love with it. At 18, she took her game to the next level in New Zealand, developing in one of the most demanding rugby environments and sharpening her edge as a player.

After stepping away from rugby for three years, she returned with a mission renewed purpose, a clear focus on reaching the next level, and a commitment to enjoying every moment along the way. Now, that goal becomes reality as she takes the field with the Boston Banshees in the WER.
