We’re honored to welcome Kevin Shea (Ret.) – FDNY Rescue Company 1 as our 2026 Keynote Speaker.

Kevin brings a career forged in one of the busiest fire departments in the world, serving in Engine Co. 227, 108 Truck, and Rescue Co. 1.

His keynote lecture will cover:
▪ Leadership
▪ Training that prepares you for when it matters
▪ Firefighter safety
▪ The legendary Manhattan Rope Rescue
▪ His response to the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, and the events leading to his injuries sustained in the line of duty

After being seriously injured in 1993, Kevin battled back, continued to serve as an FDNY instructor, and has spent decades shaping firefighters across the country through Fire Engineering, FDIC, and Spec Rescue.
