As I have a very big sweet tooth, I decided to make these little protein bars. At least when I bake them at home, I know exactly how much sugar I’m eating. All I gotta do now is cut them in little pieces.

High protein dinner tonight 😊
Start by heating a little olive oil in a large skillet. Add in one diced onion and a couple of minced garlic cloves, and sauté them until they’re soft. Then, add your ground chicken, breaking it up as it cooks. Once it’s browned, stir in a teaspoon each of cumin and paprika, plus a pinch of cinnamon if you like. Then toss in a can of drained chickpeas, a couple of chopped peppers (any color you prefer), and about a cup of chicken broth. Let it all simmer for about 10 minutes until it thickens. Finish with a squeeze of lemon juice and some chopped parsley. That’s it! Let me know if you need any adjustments.

Wow… over 7,000 steps today just from cleaning! 😅
Goes to show when you get up and move, it really makes a difference without even trying. I just put my watch on, started cleaning, and 5 hours later… 7,350 steps done! 💪✨

Cruise week AND NO WORKOUT!!!

Today in class, we focused on some effective leg exercises using ankle weights, which I absolutely love! Ankle weights can really enhance our workouts by adding extra resistance, helping to build strength and endurance in our legs. We tackled various movements that engaged our quads, hamstrings, and glutes, ensuring a full lower body workout.
Don't forget to sign up every Saturday at 8:30-9:15 AM for a fantastic full-body workout. And 9:30 -10:15 AM Upper body and core strength.
