There’s a place for Russian twists, sit ups, and crunches, but if you want to get the most out of your core it has to be challenged in ways that tie it all together.

👋🏼 Hey everyone I haven’t introduced myself in a long time so here goes— I’m Justin Ancona, but most people call me Azzey. I’ve been coaching and training people in South Florida for the past 14 years, working alongside some of the best coaches, Chiros, and physical therapists in the game (You know who you are and I appreciate you more than you know❤️)
I got into lifting for two powerful reasons:
1️⃣ Because I saw how much it helped my mental health and gave me a community of people who pushed and supported me.
2️⃣ Because I witnessed firsthand what happens when you don’t take care of your body. My father passed from pancreatic cancer—he was a heavy smoker, overweight, and sedentary. My mother has severe osteoporosis and lives with the consequences of a lifetime of poor habits.
That experience growing up fueled a mission in me: to break the cycle, take control of my own health, and help others do the same—so they can show up for themselves and their families for as long as possible. My mission is to help people throve inside and out of the gym for as long as humanely possible.
I’m passionate about all things strength & conditioning, athletic performance, mobility, and bodybuilding—and I love teaching my clients how to fuel their bodies properly through nutrition.
I’ve worked with everyone from athletes and General population to paraplegics and people recovering from brain injuries. But my favorite clients? The ones who show up with a great attitude, ready to commit to the process. I’ll always meet you halfway—but you’ve gotta be willing to do the work. My job is as a coach is to help you identify what you’re missing and help you create the right systems and build the mindset to get you headed in the right direction.

The glute/Hamstring growth is real 📈🙌🏼 This is what happens when you have good programming, ex*****on, and fuel your body properly! Demi had great habits and was pretty good with her movement patterns, but was under fueling (nutritionally) a little bit, and was underestimating how strong she is and how hard she could push. When she started working with and myself, we were able to identify and correct those variables and BOOM 💥 the body responded wonderfully.
We prioritized a 3 day per week lower body training split and focus’s on moving intently and properly applying intensity and progressive overload. Nothing crazy, just hard work!
