The Powered By Performance Invitational has extended its wings, all thanks to photos by Jeff Helmkamp.πΈ Unfortunately, the OPA Freeport Race was called off and Smith stepped down from IHRA.
In lighter news, the turnout for the Binks Memorial Run is steadily increasing for all the right reasons, and the Vivi Jo Barbie Poker Run is closing in on its fundraising target!π― Nor-Tech keeps making charitable work a key part their identity, while 'Pretty As Hell' Outerlimits SC 46 Catamaran made its debut at the Kuttawa Cannonball Run.β΅
Early this week, the Dam Boat Run on Lake Murray was a total home run, while the Binks Memorial Fun Run for Addiction Awareness continues to grow, showing us the importance of such causes.π

After several years of painstaking restoration, Nick and Meagan Beishir proudly presented their revamped 2000 model-year, 40-foot Advantage sportboat. The couple behind Smart Solutions Electrical Contractors in Osage Beach, Mo., transformed their vessel into a visual spectacle on the poker-run circuit.
The showstopper? An extensive KICKER Marine Audio sound system. Their revamp includes the installation of KMXL speakers, subwoofers, 5 amps, a head unit, and remote controls.
Impressed by the sturdy components and backed support, Nick didn't just stop at owning the sound system, he became an authorized dealer- installer for KICKER Marine at Central Missouri waterway.
"With KICKER being a leader in 12-Volt systems since '73, it's incredible to be part of their legacy. The 'Living Loud' speakers were the cool factor back in the day and now, they're leading the marine supplier segment." Nick voiced his pride in association and the trust on quality and service of KICKER's offerings.
"We absolutely adore our boat & its sound system! We're always up for assisting others in their pursuit of quality music experiences like ours." he added. π€π

The fourth annual Binks Fun For Addiction Awareness is set to make waves despite concerns over Lake Norman's low waters. We're expecting a record-setting turnout of over 60 performance-boats this weekend! The event tradition continues in memory of our beloved Binks, who tragically lost his life to a fentanyl overdose. This year has been challenging due to drought, but the community's relentless spirit prevails, . A gracious couple has opened up their home for our lunch stop, highlighting the unity and support that makes this event truly special. With the help of family, friends, and partners like my right-hand man, Chad Shutter, plus the indefatigable BRP staff, I know this year will be a success. Even repeat participant, Kelly O'Hara who ran his DCB Performance catamaran yesterday, is confident of a hitch-free event, assuring us βthe Lake Norman water levels are fineβ indeed. Let's all gear up for a great weekend filled with camaraderie and shared commitment to addiction awareness! π€βοΈπͺπ½

Several years back, Performance Boat Center initiated its exclusive Powered By Performance Invitational, primarily restricted to brands like MTI, Performance Powerboats and Sunsation Boats. Customers supporting these brands enrolled from our Osage Beach, MO, dealership for this event. This dedicated brand event, now even bigger, is scheduled from June 18-20. We've added a twist - all Performance Boat Center sales & service clients are welcome! Gear up for registration. The fun kicks off at Redhead Lake Grill, next to our headquarters, followed by a thrilling run towards The Cave Bar & Grill, and a night at High-Tide Social. More adventure waits on Saturday, as boats journey to Coconuts Coconuts At The Lake, and a relaxing Sunday at Dog Days. In 2025, this event organizer welcomed 70 boats raising an incredible $45,000 for Make-A-Wish of Missouri and Kansas. π€π. Photo: Jeff Helmkamp/ Shoot 2 Thrill Pix.

The success of a boating event isn't solely based on the enthusiasm of the organizer. It involves a combination of ambition, attention to detail and sincere post-analysis.
Mark the date! The third annual Rocky Top Power Run is set for August 4-6 in Tennessee (Photo by Jeff Helmkamp). Introducing Matt Rogers, our intrepid organizer, powering us through with his boundless energy and focus.
"Things are going awesome. It gets smoother every year," says Rogers, detailing how heβs revamped the website for easy registrations and added a charity raffle page. Also, keep an eye out for TVs around the lake, playing footage from last year and advertising the raffle and registration.
Rogers promises, "The marina setup will be well-organized". If you're interested, participant and sponsor registrations are still open.
"Itβs a 'Field of Dreams' situation", Rogers shares, "Weβve built it...Now we're just waiting for them to come."
So are you ready for an unforgettable event?

Last year saw John and Robin Cosker, owners of the renowned Mystic Powerboats, hauling a powerful C4000 catamaran to numerous events nationwide. They spent much of the summer on the open water, reveling in the adrenaline of high-speed boating. This year, however, they're taking a somewhat gentler approach. While the C4000 is undeniably excellent in rough water, it's the M4200 - a comfortable, spacious cruiser perfectly suited to choppy conditions - that they've chosen as their chariot for the upcoming season. π
Gearing up for a trip to the Bahamas next week with 20 of our awe-inspiring owners, the stage is set for a marine odyssey that Titanic himself would be envious of. Following a couple of demos from Bahia Mar Resort with our newest 42 before setting sail, we'll be exploring the majestic islands of Bimini before moving onto Eleutheras for three more days of sun-soaked fun. ποΈ
From the 1,000 Islands Charity Poker Run in July to the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout in August, we've got an incredible season ahead of us. And stick around because John is on his drawing board, visualizing the future of luxury boating. π€
"You never know what's next, but we're so excited to bring our designs to life," John says. Stay tuned!

Also, in the pipeline - a sleek 330 center console with custom paint, interior finish, and six of these are already in production to boast triple 500R outboards. There's more, four Checkmate 24 BRX bow-riders in production and one of them featuring an infused carbon, Kevlar & epoxy layup, powered by a Mercury Racing 500R outboard. Two weekends ago, the infamous churning Atlantic waters off Cocoa Beach turned the "Thunder on Cocoa Beach" event into a testing ground for avid fans and hardcore competitors alike. A number of teams left with major repair work to do before the next IHRA event. βπ§ One among them was none other than veteran throttleman, Ryan Beckley. Despite these conditions, Beckley charmingly described it as one of his best performances ever, especially after having to watch from the sidelines all of last season. ππ Beckley managed to throttle two Super Stock-class catamarans, one with rookie driver Sloan Langston and the other with Hampton Langston, Sloanβs older brother. π€π€ What's more, Beckley and his team managed to crack the top ten in Super Stock and bagged the 4th spot in the Factory Stock class. ππ Now looking forward to his upcoming races, Beckley's surely back where he intends to be. His experience only goes to show that every wave brings a new challenge and a chance to rise! ππͺ
