The South Florida HEAT Band is a multi-generational group of homeschooling parents and students. We ask that musicians have at least one year of experience on an instrument to join us for football/ marching season. In the spring first time musicians are welcome to join our beginning bands which hold classes in Pompano and Hollywood. We would love to speak to you!

Hollywood Hills Homeschoolers Co-Op Classes are a wonderful way to introduce children to others while increasing their knowledge in academic areas. No two children have the exactly the same skills or learning styles. That's why we strive to create a structured, yet flexible, environment for every child.
JOIN FYO! Auditions for our 36th Season will be held on SATURDAY JUNE 10 at Nova Southeastern University (by appointment). Openings in all 7 divisions. FYO programs have been recognized for excellence & innovation and its distinguished 23-member faculty. We are non-profit 501c3. Receive exceptional music training in a nurturing environment, make new friends and enjoy our special events.
Florida Youth Orchestra Recognized for promoting "excellence in education, excellence in performance and excellence in life" since 1988, the non-profit FYO serves talented children from the tri-county area & enhances our community with highly regarded community performances.

Good morning Band. Obviously, we're not going to have rehearsal this week (or next week because it's the scheduled spring break) But, in this time of fear and uncertainty, let's stop at 7:30 tomorrow evening and pray. Let's use that time to pray for God's protection for our families and peace for our hearts. The world may be going crazy around us, but God is Still on His Throne, and He's Got this, and us, too.

The first meeting of the South Florida HEAT Band will not be held tonight. Stay safe everyone!
Our first rehearsal will be September 10th, at New Life Baptist Church at 7:30 pm. Be sure to bring your binders! We'll be getting lots of new music for our first scheduled performance at the Night Out Against Crime on October 3rd. See you there!
