This week , we’re launching an installation that captures a moment during the many fans saw.

During the World Series, hit a laser foul ball towards the stands and instinctively raised his hand, hoping no one had been hurt.

That split second of vulnerability validates that both players and people are exposed to risks at the ballpark.

These cringe-worthy moments should not have to exist.

Public safety is pro-baseball.

Introducing our , Jordan Skopp: The Heart behind Foul Ball Safety Now.

Jordan Skopp has been a lifelong with deep roots in Brooklyn. A passionate Mets fan, Jordan’s love for the game has brought him countless moments of joy—and a mission to protect fans everywhere.

The turning point came in 2019 when a horrific to a young girl in Houston shook him to his core. Realizing the widespread risk of high-speed foul balls and the lack of protections in ballparks, Jordan felt compelled to act. He says: “It’s not a matter of if someone will get hurt—it’s when.”

Since founding Foul Ball Safety Now, Jordan has dedicated his life and resources to and advocating for extended netting in ballparks. From flying planes over stadiums to organizing conferences with lawyers and medical professionals, his tireless efforts have put fan safety on the map.

Jordan’s is clear: to modernize outdated laws like the Baseball Rule, protect families from the dangers of sitting in unprotected seats, and ensure that fans—especially children—can enjoy baseball without fear.

“My is to bring together advocates from all walks of life to create change. If my activism can prevent people from experiencing the lifelong trauma of a foul ball injury, it will all be worth it.”
