We're not done golfing yet! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

Starting November 1st, our clubhouse hours will be:

🕘 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM DAILY

🌤️ WEATHER PERMITTING! Remember, chilly mornings may mean a delayed opening until temperatures warm up!

Let's make the most of these last few weeks of golf before the season wraps up! 🍁

WE ARE MORE THAN HALFWAY THERE! 🙌 This is a milestone worth celebrating. The Friends of Sheaffers Capital Campaign has officially surpassed 50% of our fundraising goal!

That achievement is possible because of the generosity of individuals, families, businesses and friends who believe in the future of Sheaffers Golf Course.
Every gift represents more than a dollar amount. It represents a belief that this course matters. That its history matters. That our community deserves a place where generations can gather, play, compete, make memories and enjoy the game of golf.
To everyone who has already contributed: Thank you for believing in the vision!

We are halfway there, but our work is not finished. We still need YOU to help us reach the finish line. If you have been considering a gift to the Friends of Sheaffers Capital Campaign, now is the time to become part of this effort.

💚⛳️ WHAT A DAY AT SHEAFFER MEMORIAL! ⛳️💚

Today was all about the people who make Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course what it is!

We celebrated our incredible staff with an afternoon of golf, food, laughter, prizes, a few silly awards, and some much-deserved appreciation!

From our grounds crew who work tirelessly to keep this course beautiful, to our clubhouse staff who keep things running and welcome our golfers every day — every single one of these people plays a part in making Sheaffer special. 💚

And what made today even better? Getting to invite their families and friends to join in the fun!

A HUGE thank you to Doug Snaadt for stepping up and running the clubhouse so our staff could enjoy the afternoon together. We appreciate you more than you know!

To our entire Sheaffer family, thank you for your hard work, your dedication, your personalities, and everything you bring to this place.

We spend so much of our season taking care of our golfers. Today, we got to take care of each other. ❤️

💚⛳ A BIG SHOUTOUT TO DOUG SNAADT! ⛳💚

Today is our Staff Appreciation Day at Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course, and our crew is out enjoying some much-deserved time on the course with their families and friends!

But there's one person making it possible for ALL of us to be out here together!

Our board member, Doug Snaadt! 👏

Doug volunteered to take over the clubhouse today so our entire staff could enjoy the afternoon without worrying about who's working inside!

Now, we may have thrown him into the deep end a little bit 😂, but he's holding down the fort, and we couldn't appreciate him more!

So if you stop in today, give Doug a smile, a little patience, and a BIG thank-you for stepping up!

Doug, thank you for giving us the opportunity to enjoy a day together. It means more than you know! 💚

Congratulations to Daryl Bailey, Jim and Chris Nelson and Justin Livingston for taking home 1st place in the first flight today in the Chili Open!

1st place in the 2nd flight was Rod and Doug Snaadt, Mark Kramer and Dave Steffensmeier.

Congratulations to all the people who placed or won a hole prize.

Thank you to all 23 teams for showing up, enjoying time outside on a beautiful day and making this event a success!

Sheaffer Memorial Golf Course will be CLOSED to public play tomorrow, Saturday, October 24th, while we host our Superintendent's Revenge Chili Open!
