Yesterday, we gathered to celebrate the boundless potential of our 2026 SWFJGA Scholarship recipients at Cypress Lake Golf Club! 🎉

Rhys Skillrud, a 12-year SWFJGA veteran, takes home the Steven Hutnik award and is set to engineer a brighter future at Florida Gulf Coast University.

Hunter Hayes, a 5-year member, receives the Jef Nixon Scholarship and is building a strong foundation in Construction Management at the University of Florida.

Noah Pruss, our most well-rounded student-athlete, is awarded the Nolan Henke Scholarship and is poised to make a financial impact at the University of Connecticut.

And Ty Williams, with a passion for the golf industry, receives the Ron Leatherwood Scholarship to pursue Professional Golf Management at Florida Gulf Coast University.

We're beaming with pride for these four outstanding individuals and can't wait to see the incredible things they'll achieve! 💫

The event is free of charge to all SWFJGA Members! The charge per guest is $65 for Adults and $45 for juniors (please select in registration form). Please note, families with more than 1 SWFJGA member need to register each member in separate registration forms. Registration closes Sunday, August 2nd at 5:00 pm, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible. **Guest fees are non-refundable.

Registration is open to the first 100 registrants. All juniors and guests are required to register to attend.

Good Luck to SWFJGA alumni George McNeill in the U.S. Senior Open! He told a 3 shot lead in the final round. ⛳️🏌️‍♂️👍

Another major championship is up for grabs this week as the U.S. Women’s Open takes place at Riviera Country Club.

This is the first time the top female golfer take on the famous California course.

Will one of the world’s top ladies take home the trophy or will it be an underdog?

We are less than 1 week away from our first event on Monday at County Creek. Our 18 Hole League will be kicking off the season with a 2-person scramble and the 9-hole league will be playing teeing off on the back 9! Tee times will start at 8am.

Our Parent/Adult-Junior will be held at Olde Hickory Country Club on Sunday June 14th with an 8:15am shotgun start. The cost for this will be $150 per team of 2. The sign-up is low and we need a minimum of 20 teams to make this event sucessful. If the registration does not get to this number we will postpone the event until September.
