It’s almost time. August 3rd 2018 is this years junior baseball southeast regional

Two great summer camps this week folks. First there is the Bishop Verot baseball camp for all players or those wishing to learn from some of the best. It starts Monday June 11th for ages six thru twelve and begins at 8 am each morning thru the 15th. Fundamentals and advanced skills are taught. The cost is 110.00 and walkups are welcome. Registration starts at 730 am. this coming Monday. Donny’s great concession stand is open each day for during break.

Also the amazing matt Herting hoopschool basketball camp which is this week is for boys and girls going into grades 7-9. This is our most accelerated. Cost is 140 for the four day camp June 11th to the 15th and runs from 9 am to 4 pm yes an all day camp that parents and kids both love and Donny’s famous backcourt cafe is open and serves breakfast lunch and snacks. Walkups are always welcome and you can register as early as 830 am.

Both camps are in the campus of Bishop Verot high school

Message from Donny Overholser President Fort Myers American LL. We are deeply touched by Rutherfordton Little League for their generous offer to help our league recover from the damage from hurricane Irma. Many times softball and baseball teams have traveled here for regionals from their league. I don't quite have the words to thank Donna and Curtis and the whole league for their offer. Please thank everyone for me for your kindness.

A huge thanks goes out to our city's youth. Day in and day out our league's players, parents, and friends voluntarily take time out of their day (and in this case "vacation") to lend a hand where help is needed. Instead of fixing up their homes, they reach out to their community, putting other's needs before theirs. Thank you to everyone for all the thoughts and prayers.

Can't begin to speak for everyone down here but Donny overholser and barry Raber and family and board members of FMA have made it thru the storm ok. Scary but it was ok in the end.

Say a prayer for all of us in fort Myers please. Hurricane Irma comes to town Sunday midday
