The 944 Cup is a nationwide race series that races at many of the best tracks in the country, such as Watkins Glen, VIR, Mosport, Sebring, Daytona and Road Atlanta. There are two 944 Cup classes designed for normally aspirated eight (8) valve front engine Porsches, with the exception of the turbo powered 2.0L model (931).
