The new owners of Gator Lanes will not have fall/ winter leagues, they are honoring the rest of the summer league which ends in a few weeks. They will have open bowling. We would like to thank all of our loyal customers that bowled in the league’s. We will be posting about our new adventure a soon.

After 48 unforgettable years, it’s time to say goodbye to a business that has meant so much to our family, our staff, and this incredible community.

We’ve shared countless celebrations, milestones, friendships, and memories that will stay with us forever. Thank you to every customer, employee, and friend who walked through our doors and became part of our story.

EDIT: For all of our amazing customers thank you so much for the out pour of love. Just to clarify for every one we are selling the building to Fort Myers Theatre who plans to continue to run as a bowling center far into the future and will be offering free drinking leagues and specials. Gator Lanes will still be us until mid August. Again, thank you for all of your love and support. We can’t wait to party with you all on the 26th!

One Last Roll - 48 Years of Memories – Gator Lanes Farewell Celebration

After 48 incredible years, the time has come to close the doors of Gator Lanes and give the opportunity to Fort Myers Theatre to have an amazing bowling alley of their own.

What began as a bowling alley became so much more than that. It became a place where friendships were made, first dates happened, birthday parties were celebrated, leagues became families, and countless memories were created. Generations walked through these doors—parents, children, and even grandchildren—each leaving a small piece of their story behind.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for every customer, employee, league member, friend, and family member who made Gator Lanes what it was. Your laughter, support, and loyalty filled this building with life for nearly five decades.

While it is bittersweet to say goodbye to a chapter that has meant so much to so many, we are choosing to look ahead with grateful hearts. The memories made here will always be part of us, but now it’s time to turn the page and begin a new chapter.

Thank you for 48 unforgettable years. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and your traditions.
