I did a thing...
We've published another book! This time, it's from David.
Fit for the Call is a no-nonsense guide for men who are done drifting. Built around the conviction that physical strength and spiritual faithfulness aren't separate pursuits, this book challenges men to steward their bodies the same way they'd steward anything else God has entrusted to them: with intention, discipline, and a bigger purpose in mind.

We're built on the choices that we make.
My morning didn't go as planned. Things were taking longer than expected.
I could have chose to write the day of as a loss.
I could have chose to rest on a work day.
But I chose to get in 35 minutes of hard work.
I chose to make the time to push myself.
And I'm better today because of the choices I made on Friday.

Jiu-Jitsu like this brings me back to my roots...
My first six months of training Jiu-Jitsu was done on mats like these in living rooms, garages and front yards...
Timers?
.. Sometimes..
Lesson plan?
.. Optional..
Rolls?
.. Plentiful..
It was six months of learning through the grind. Learning by being smashed over and over.
Glad to get out and roll like this again.
Thanks to the crew for the invite. 🤙🏼

Coffee & Weights.. Seriously, why hadn't I thought of this routine earlier?
I feel great when I start my day with a workout and can't go a morning without a cup of joe. Combining the two makes my morning run smoother and gives me a little extra time where I'd sit and have my morning coffee, or when rushed, having to take it on the go.

Coffee and Weights...
It may not be for everyone, but I am certainly enjoying this new routine.
What are your quirky workout rituals?

It's been a while since I've rucked. Mostly due to schedule, some part was a discipline issue. But I strapped it on and got in some miles. As a reminder, here's some reasons I love rucking:
1. Stronger Heart, Longer Life - Rucking builds endurance and supports the body God gave you.
2. Legs, Core, and Back Gains - Carrying weight trains the muscles that keep you strong and capable.
3. Burns More Calories Than Walking - And nearly as much as running, without pounding your knees.
4. Easy on the Joints - Rucking gives you all the benefits of cardio without beating up your body.
5. Better Posture, Better Presence - Walking under load forces you to stand taller and move with strength.
6. Leaner, Stronger, Healthier - Rucking helps shift your body composition in the right direction.
7. Boosts Mental Health - Walking in God's creation clears your mind and lowers stress.
8. Minimal Gear, Maximum Benefit - All you need is a backpack, some weight, and the willingness to start.
9. Full-Body Training - Add push-ups, squats, and lunges mid-ruck to turn it into a full workout.
10. Built for Brotherhood - Ruck with a friend, your spouse, or your kids. Shared miles build connection.
11. Easy to Progress - Start light and add weight over time as your strength and endurance grow.
12. Stronger Bones, Stronger Future - Weighted walking stimulates bone growth and long-term resilience.
13. Improves Stability and Mobility - Rucking trains balance, coordination, and functional movement.
14. Vitamin D + Fresh Air - A healthy body, healthy mind, and healthy spirit start outside.
15. Breaks the Routine - Rucking gets you off the treadmill and into the real world.
16. Bigger Lungs, Better Capacity - Over time, your endurance and breathing improve naturally.
17. Low-Cost, Hiah-Reward - A backpack, weight, and shoes are all you need to get started.
