Great start to the Season,10’6” Super Shooting Gavin aka “Tyler”

. What an amazing 24 hours! My good friend Dusty Knutson came down to visit for the opening of Spring turkey season. On the first day, at 5:45 pm we were able to harvest an Osceola turkey after an exciting close encounter that am. The next morning, we headed south to target some nuisance gators, and we successfully caught a nearly 9-foot gator that had been giving me a hard time for a while. After that, we decided to go after a hog to complete a South Florida Spring slam. Of course, I had the perfect spot, and right around 5:45 PM, we sealed the deal with a 100lb pig. All of this within 24 hours – we might've set some kind of record! Great time with a pretty cool dude...

First hunt of the trophy season in the books. I was able to get Ruthie on this 10ft 3" with Archery equipment for her 21st birthday. Crazy thing is I took her dad gator hunting when she was just a baby !!Thank you Mark for coming back after all these years...

We must have seen 500 gators last night. Weather was supposed to not be too good tonight or tomorrow and these two gave us the best opportunity. Hunting with Archery Equipment makes it a lot more challenging. Amanda and Dustin, thank you for another fun night in the Florida Swamps.
