Nutrition is just as important as the training when it comes to hitting your goal! Here are some tips:
1. Nutrition is particular to your goals and you as a person — find what fits!
2. Gut health is important — make sure that the foods you’re eating agree with you and do your research before adding supplements into your diet.
3. Make sure that the caloric deficit you are in is healthy and sustainable — going too far into a deficit will cause you to cheat often or quit your diet.
4. Get your water in — this helps to boost your metabolism as well as keep your body functioning properly!
5. Avoid drinking your calories — stay away from those sugary drinks with empty calories!
6. Get enough sleep — without enough sleep your body can create insulin resistance and confuse your appetite hormones. This will also help you to be able to train to your fullest and aid in recovery!
7. Eat lots of healthy proteins — this helps to ensure you’re building muscle
8. Do your research or seek out help if you are unsure of what to do for your nutrition

LETS TALK GOALS!
Everyone has a goal in fitness whether it be to lose weight, gain muscle, be healthier, or maintain where you already are. SMART goals allow you to set your intentions and have something to work towards. No goal in mind when hitting the gym doesn’t do you any good.
Having a SMART goal also allows you to come up with a game plan of how you’re going to get there. For instance if you want to lose 20 pounds by summer time, you’d need to be losing about 1.5 lbs a week. This would allow you to know you need to be in a 750 caloric deficit per day. In order to do that you would need to find a nutrition plan along with a workout routine that would get you there.
Setting a goal allows you to create stepping stones to get to that goal. You also will know if you are needing adjustments along the way of you are falling behind as well. Don’t forget to make the goal realistic to you though. An unrealistic goal will always leave you feeling bad about yourself since you couldn’t reach it!

Let’s talk supplements!
To start out with, no I do not recommend taking ALL of these supplements ALL the time. The supplements that you choose need to help you on your way to meet YOUR goals!
I do recommend taking a few supplements no matter what which are a good multivitamin, daily cleanse, greens and reds superfoods, and for woman hormone support plus. These supplements make sure that your body is getting the vitamins and micronutrients it need as well as keeping a healthy digestive system. The hormone support for women also helps in so many ways from period regulation to stress and mood support, I will make a whole other post about it at another time.
Yes it’s very apparent that I love and use all products. They are what my body had responded well with and have stuck with them ever since. You can save 20% using code: TDavey if you’re wanting to give them a try, I highly recommend to!
