The WHY I became a Swim Life coach….

5 years ago today, I became a mother to these two precious miracles! Knowing that drowning is the leading cause of death, I instantly knew I would do anything and everything to protect my babies from such statistics! Living in Florida and being surrounded by water, survival swim lessons were a no-brainer!!

Putting two kids through lessons at once required lots of financial budgeting adjustments/reallocations, time, schedule adjustments, commitment, and watching my first-born babies fuss the whole 5 weeks of basic training!!😅 BUT..like I said, I will do ANYTHING to keep my babies safe whether they fuss or not!! Was it hard? Yes! Was it financially straining? Yes! Was it a big commitment? Yes! Was it worth it? YESSSS!!!

PROUD is an understatement!! They didn’t necessarily enjoy basic training, but THEY CONQUERED and ACQUIRED life-saving skills!! They are now obsessed with swimming, have learned respect for the water, and have the capability to self-rescue by utilizing their float to access air!!

Just as they didn’t love their car seats, I knew it could save their lives! Survival swim lessons are no different!!

Although I didn’t train any of my 3 children 😅, my heart has a burning desire to make a difference in the lives of others which is why I am a Swim Life coach! I will continue to fight the statistics of the #1 killer of our children! Together, we can make a difference!!!!! 🤍🏊✨
