It is with a deep sense of appreciation and some feelings of bittersweet sorrow, that i announce the closing of our karate school effective April 26th, 2016. Many of students have passed through our doors, hopefully most of them with new knowledge or an inspired sense of personal improvement.
We opened the doors back in August 1996 and have been open since that day. The reason for our closing is that we cannot sustain the current staff as they are in the midst of change in their lives.
I would like to profoundly thank the so many people that have made the Shotokan School so dedicated, family oriented and just plain fun. I also want to thank the black belts that have come and gone, those that came close and those that just gave it a shot.
There have been students, parents, other schools, masters and grand masters, friends and visitors all too many to give the proper thanks.
I also want to specifically thank these following people for their unwavering support of the school for many years.

As a result of the school closing, there will be many martial art related items for sale. I’ll make a separate post for items for sale.
Once again, thank you. You have all made me a better person.
