π₯ Good luck to our Fort Washington United competitors at the Tap Cancer Out tournament in Baltimore today! π₯
Today, members of both our Adult Competition Team and our Youth All-Star Competition Team are stepping onto the mats to represent Fort Washington United at one of the most meaningful tournaments in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community.
Tap Cancer Out is a nonprofit organization that uses Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments to help raise awareness and funding for cancer-fighting organizations and families affected by cancer. Their mission is to βgive every grappler the opportunity to fight for those in the fight of their lives.β (Tap Cancer OutοΏΌ)
This is one of our favorite events of the year because it combines:
π₯ Competition
π€ Community
β€οΈ Service and purpose
Our athletes have worked hard preparing for today, and weβre proud to see both our youth and adult teams continuing to grow in confidence, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Letβs cheer them on today as they represent Fort Washington United on the mats in Baltimore! π₯
Win or lose, stepping out there takes courage β and competing for a cause bigger than yourself makes it even more meaningful.
