Fort Washington Swim Team Sharks We've been a proud member of the Prince-Mont Swim League since 1972. Check out our calendar page.
A private community-based organization and our mission is to build children's aquatic skills, teamwork, principles of good sportsmanship and love of the sport. The Sharks have established a tradition of doing their best. Our Sharks are a fun loving bunch and enjoy many social events beyond competing in swim meets. Additionally, our Guppy program teaches the youngest of children the skills needed to become racing members of the team.

As we make our way into August, we want to thank our entire Fort Washington Sharks family for a terrific 2025 season. The June and July days are long but, in hindsight, the season seems short. We hope you’re enjoying the summer and we look forward to seeing you at the pool. There’s still plenty of summer ahead to enjoy! 🌞

Congratulations to Daniel Pizzuro our 2025 Steve Kaplan Award winner! In memory of Steve Kaplan and his tremendous example of dedication and sportsmanship, the Fort Washington Swim Team annually presents the Steve Kaplan Memorial Award to the Shark who demonstrates the best teamwork and sportsmanship of the year. 🏆
