What a wonderful day at TimberNook! 🎉 Our woodland friends celebrated with a special birthday party for the pets! The children created a joyful celebration filled with imagination, laughter, and plenty of pretend play. From birthday treats to festive fun, it was a beautiful day of creativity, friendship, and making memories in the great outdoors. Happy birthday to all of our furry friends! 🐾🎂🌿

Today was such a peaceful day at TimberNook. The children enjoyed painting alongside their beloved pets—well, most of the pets were content to simply watch! 😊 It was so much fun to see the children creating art in the wild, surrounded by nature, with their furry companions by their side. Days like these remind us that some of the best creativity happens outdoors.

What a spectacular day at TimberNook! 🎪 After reading Olivia saves the circus, we brought the story to life with our very own circus-themed adventure. The children balanced, performed, created, laughed, and used their imaginations as they explored all the fun of the circus through play. It was a joyful day full of creativity, movement, and plenty of smiles!

Our favorite stuffed animal friends came along for the adventure and had a busy day visiting the vet clinic for checkups before heading over to the pet café for some well-deserved treats and relaxation. The children used their imaginations, cared for their furry companions with kindness, and spent the day creating, exploring, and playing together in nature.

What an incredible week at TimberNook's Village Folks camp! From epic fort building and exciting team challenges to friendly battles and imaginative games, the children filled each day with creativity and adventure. It was especially rewarding to watch campers step into leadership roles. Campers confidently teaching the others how to play Capture the Flag and helping everyone feel included. Throughout the week, they practiced teamwork, worked through conflicts, encouraged one another, and discovered how much can be accomplished when they work together. We wrapped up the week the best way possible—playing in the rain, splashing in puddles, and finishing with a campfire and roasted marshmallows. It was a week full of fun, growth, and unforgettable memories!

Today at TimberNook, the children spent the day building teamwork, trust, and communication through a series of fun challenges!

We started with Minefield, where one child was blindfolded while their partner guided them through the course using only their voice. It was amazing to watch them learn to trust one another and communicate clearly.

Next, we took on the Hula Hoop Pass challenge, working together to move the hoop around the circle without letting go of each other's hands. The children showed great problem-solving skills, persistence, and teamwork as they figured out how to help one another succeed.

We ended the day with Dragon Tail, a fast-paced game where the children tried to protect their "tail" while collecting others'. There was lots of running, laughter, strategy, and opportunities to practice good sportsmanship and manage emotions during both victories and setbacks.

What a treasure-filled day at TimberNook! ✨

The children worked together to build forts and protect their bags of gold from sneaky treasure hunters. Armed with water squirters, they defended their forts, planned strategies, and used plenty of teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving along the way.

This game was also a wonderful opportunity to practice being good sports, handle big emotions, work through disappointments, celebrate successes, and encourage one another throughout the adventure. These valuable social-emotional skills are often some of the greatest lessons learned through play.

There was lots of laughter, running, splashing, and imaginative play as the children fully immersed themselves in the challenge. Watching their confidence, cooperation, resilience, and joy unfold through play was simply wonderful!

What a wonderful week at TimberNook! We wrapped up our adventures today with a campfire and marshmallows, sharing laughs and memories from an amazing week of creativity, exploration, and play. Watching the children use their imaginations, take risks, and connect with nature has been such a joy. Thank you for a week filled with fun, friendship, and muddy smiles!

What a fun day at TimberNook! After reading Even Monsters Need Haircuts, the children transformed our outdoor space into their very own barbershop, using their imaginations, loose parts, and teamwork to create a one-of-a-kind experience. We wrapped up the day with a foam party full of laughter, movement, and smiles. There's never a dull moment when play leads the way! 🌿✂️🫧

The children had a blast exploring color through sensory play with colored ice cubes, flour, and loose parts. They loved watching the ice melt and mix together, creating all kinds of colorful designs. There was so much creativity as they mixed, built, experimented, and made their own unique creations.

It was amazing to watch their curiosity take over as they explored different textures, temperatures, and materials with their hands. The sensory experience sparked lots of imagination, laughter, and discovery, making for a truly wonderful day!
