**ANNOUNCEMENT** The LAF Division of the National Football Association (NFA) has announced that they will push the launch of the womens season til 2023. The Hellcats are still recruiting for an Owner, Coaching staff and players. The LAF Division has, also, been re-formatted as womens indoor.

**PRESS RELEASE** - The Fort Wayne Hellcats, proud members of Ladies American Football (LAF), are pleased to announce that Andrew Mahan will serve as the team's General Manager for the inaugural 2022 season.
After eight years of playing the sport, Mahan has coached youth football for three years, both as head coach for the Elida Thunder and the defensive coordinator for the Uniopolis Browns. Now, Mahan is ready to oversee the revival of women's football in Fort Wayne and set a flightplan to the championship for the Hellcats.
“What drew me to the Hellcats and the LAF is the passion for football I have," Mahan remarked. "Football has been in my life and blood since I was 4 and beyond excited to becoming the GM and making the team better!”

Women's tackle football returns to Fort Wayne in 2022 with the Fort Wayne Hellcats! Proud members of Ladies American Football, the Hellcats are the first women's tackle football team in the City of Churches since the Fort Wayne Flash of the NWFA and WFA (2007-2009).
